Standard cocktail shakers are a great tool to have in the bar but sometimes you want something with a little more style or a personal touch. These shakers don't look anything like your normal shaker they do make fun gifts. As unconventional as they may seem, they are completely functional and include many of the features one looks for in a
typical shaker.
Many of these designs are inspired by vintage designs, but if you're in the mood for the real deal check out Vintage Cocktail Shakers - the best source for vintage barware available that is headed by today's authorities in cocktail memorabilia.

How functional it is as a cocktail shaker, well that's a matter of debate and I personally may not use it given the nearly $400 price tag, but it is beautiful and a conversation piece worthy of display in any bar.

The 2004 design of Ron Arad has been designed to "mimic the motion of liquid" and resembles a stretched stainlesss steel teapot and includes a strainer that compliments the lengthy shape. This unique cocktail shaker does make shaking a little challenging, but the style is worth it.

It is subtely beautiful in its elegance, with gentle tiers of scallops running up the heavy glass and is topped with an equally elegant stainless steel strainer.

Other pieces, such as an ice bucket, are available in this collection designed by Lisa Smith and all are food safe so you're ensured to be mixing your drinks safely in high style.
