This tequila cocktail is the original creation of mixologist Jim Meehan. Jim's Diablo is an excellent mix of Gran Centenario Tequila, the new Canton ginger liqueur and the blackcurrant flavor of creme de cassis. The result is a complex, fruity and slightly herbal cocktail perfect for the fall season.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Gran Centenario Plata Tequila
- 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 oz Domaine de Canton liqueur
- 1/4 oz creme de cassis liqueur
- lemon wheel for garnish
Preparation:
- Add all of the ingredients to a mixing glass, then add ice.
- Shake and strain into a chilled coupe.
- Garnish with a thinly sliced lemon wheel.
