If you like any of the Collins' drinks (recipes below), here is a tequila version for you. The Juan Collins replaces that base liquor of the others with tequila and in the mix the agave of a good tequila comes through nicely. The other great thing about this particular version is that it calls for Hornitos Plata Tequila, a smooth spirit that doesn't break the bank and can be found almost anywhere. You'll just want to be sure to use fresh lemon juice for the best Juan Collins - or any Collins for that matter.

Ingredients:
- 3 parts Hornitos Plata Tequila
- 1 part lemon juice
- 1 tsp superfine sugar
- 6 parts club soda
Preparation:
- Pour the tequila, lemon juice, and sugar into a collins glass with ice cubes.
- Stir thoroughly.
- Top with club soda.
