I am really enjoying the way the newest versions of the Margarita are going. The Corzo La Futura is one of those and is the brainchild of Master Mixologist Junior Merino. Like the new Madagascar Margarita, flavors we don't associate in this drink are appearing with some interesting combinations. In this case agave is paired with ginger and pineapple. Delicious and a great change from the ordinary. Also, I do recommend sticking with Corzo for the tequila, it's one of the best to mix with.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 part Corzo Silver Tequila
- 3/4 part Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur
- 3/4 part pineapple juice
- 1 part fresh lime juice
- 1/2 part agave nectar
- crystallized ginger and lemon peel for garnish
Preparation:
- Pour all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
- Shake and pour into a margarita glass or rocks glass.
- Garnish with a slice of crystallized ginger and lemon peel.
