Pineapple is one of those fruits that stands on its own in the definitions of flavors and it is often one of the most passed over fruit juices when it comes to mixing cocktails. What I like the most about this Patron Pineapple is that it shows off the pineapple aspect in all its glory, with just a few ingredients to back it up. The one that truly accents the fruit is the Patron tequila, which happens to be one of the best tequilas available to mix with fruit. The orange and lime are included for balance and I've found that a couple dashes of orange bitters are a nice finishing touch.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz. Patrón Silver tequila
- 1/4 oz. Patrón Citrónge orange liqueur
- Fresh pineapple juice
- Lime squeeze
Preparation:
- Pour Patrón Silver and Patrón Citrónge over ice.
- Fill with pineapple juice.
- Finish with a squeeze of lime.
