The Pom Padre is a delicious cocktail that won over the taste buds of our judges in the May 2010 Tequila Cocktail Contest here on About.com. The drink was created by Ryan Kelley, the "Tequila Examiner" as a challenge to himself to find a viable mix of tequila and the herbal qualities of Benedictine. It worked out quite well, with a nice balance of agave, herbs and fruit. I think you will find this an enjoyable summer cocktail that is a fantastic change of pace from the ordinary.
