The Strawberry Margarita is possibly the most popular of the flavored Margarita varieties. This is understandable because it is a delicious frozen cocktail and great way to cool down on a hot summer day.
Many people choose to use frozen strawberries because the drink is blended and they're easy to plop into a blender. While they do make a fine drink, a superior cocktail can be found by starting with fresh berries. Plus, you can use the leftover berries to create beautiful garnishes.
The great part about blended cocktails is that they are easy to make to your personal taste. If this recipe's too boozy, cut back on the liquor. Also, you can blend it to your favorite consistency by adding more ice for a thicker drink.
