From

Glass Guide- Old-fashioned Glass

If you are looking for a green cocktail with a strong culinary flair, The Iguana is a great choice. This one is impressive because of its range of flavors that come together for one very interesting mixture. It begins with Tanteo Tropical Tequila, which also has a jalapeno note, add to that the herbs of Green Chartreuse, fresh cucumber, lime, mint and arugula and a touch of agave nectar for sweetness. A fantastic and very original mix that will impress anyone.

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 oz Tanteo Tropical Tequila
  • 1/4 oz Chartreuse Green liqueur
  • 3/4 inch cucumber
  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 oz agave nectar
  • large pinch freshly chopped arugula
  • 1 mint sprig
  • cucumber fan, mint sprig and cucumber skin ribbons for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into a chilled rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with a cucumber fan, mint sprig and cucumber skin ribbons (thinly made much like a lemon spiral).
