This is one Black Cat you won't mind if it crosses your path. At first glance you may think that the flavor combination is a little strange, but it's actually very good. Think of it as a spiked cherry cola with a cranberry twist. This is a delightful cocktail for Halloween parties.

Pour the spirits into a highball glass filled with ice.
Fill the glass with equal amounts of cranberry juice and cola.

This Black Cat is Lucky, Member stanmsak

I gave the Black Cat a try tonight and ultimately did enjoy it. This is one of those cocktails that upon reading the ingredient list I think to myself ""yeah, right"". But this did, indeed work out well. The cranberry, kirschwasser and cola combine to give a pleasing, tart, berry flavor that's not too sweet. For an interesting variant, try using Luxardo maraschino in place of the kirschwasser!
