Blavod, The Black Vodka - Black Martini

Black Martini

This is a great cocktail for a Halloween party or any occasion when an easy dark drink is in order.

This Black Martini replaces vermouth with either blackberry brandy or black raspberry liqueur (Chambord being a good choice). The drink will be dark, but not black-black so another option is to make a Vodka Martini with Blavod, a black colored vodka.

For another variation on the Black Martini, check out this video.

Black Martini, Member TajHS

dont use brandy, it's too harsh the best bet is Chambrode (sp?) its a blackberry liquire, alot smoother than brandy, and make sure the class and drink is very very cold, once it gets warm it gave me a touch of heartburn.
