Highball Glass

Glass Guide- Highball Glass

The Bull Shot is a drink for acquired tastes, one that you will either love or hate. Personally I can't get into this one, but some people swear by it. There is a lot of beef bouillon in the Bull Shot and you can use your sauces and spices to adapt it to your personal taste. Amazingly enough some people will also serve this drink warm, sort of like sipping on a mug of spiked soup.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz vodka
  • 3 oz chilled beef bouillon
  • dash of Worchestershire, Tabasco, salt and pepper to taste
  • celery salt (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice.

Bull shot is best when served hot. We drink it in the winter, when you go to the races or out on days shooting , open a flask and you will see just how many takers will line up for a cup. You can also add a touch of chilli to give an extra kick.
