The Dutch Duchess was created by the Fabulous Shaker Boys for the 2007 Tales of the Cocktail. This is one of those recipes in which the brand is key. No other vodka than Sonnema VodkaHERB will create this very cocktail, and it's simply a great, quick way to enjoy such a unique vodka.
Ingredients:
- 2 2/3 oz Sonnema VodkaHERB
- 3 drops absinthe (or absinthe substitute)
- dash of Peychaud's Bitters
- grapefruit zest for garnish
Preparation:
- Pour the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.
- Stir.
- Strain into a chilled Champagne coupe glass.
- Garnish with a zest of grapefruit.
