Grape-flavored vodka is one of the more difficult flavors to find good drinks for, but the Hail to the Chief is one of those rare gems. It was created for the Presidential inauguration of Barack Obama and served at select Washington DC bars during the week long event. To offset the grape flavoring this mix includes ginger and blackberries and turns out to be a delightful and refreshing tall drink with a red, white and blue theme once the garnishes are in place.
