If you enjoy the occasional piece of key lime pie, then you have got to try this martini. It is a sweet, fruity mix of pineapple and lime backed up by vanilla vodka and triple sec and it is quite delicious. As one reader said in the reviews, it is almost too good, so consider yourself warned and enjoy!

The really interesting aspect is the graham cracker rim which finishes off the pie experience perfectly.

Prep Time: 3 minutes

Total Time: 3 minutes

Yield: 1 Cocktail

  1. Rim a chilled cocktail glass with finely crushed graham crackers.
  2. Pour the vodka, triple sec, pineapple juice and lime cordial into a cocktail shaker with ice.

  4. Shake well.
  5. Strain into the cocktail glass.

It's A Little Too Good, Member birdydon

The problem with this type of cocktail is that they are so delicious you drink them too quickly and crave for a second! The only difficulty I had with the recipe was getting the cracker crumbs to stick to the martini glass. You have to practice this a bit. I never use triple sec. I substitute Cointreau or Grand Mariner. I found this recipe after a friend made a similar, but simpler, recipe using equal parts of Vanilla Vodka, Key Lime Liqueur, and lime juice. If this recipe rates 5 stars, then that variation is a at least a 4 star and you might like to try it too.
