Licorice Stick Recipe

Cocktail Glass

Glass Guide- Cocktail Glass

If you are one of those special people who prefers black over red licorice, this is the Martini for you. It's very simple; vodka and sambuca, garnished with a black licorice stick. Sambuca is that anise-flavored liqueur that tastes similar to absinthe (or black licorice) and it can be an acquired taste, particularly in such a transparent drink like this one. The Licorice Stick is not for everyone, but those who like it will really like it.

Tip: When shaking with Sambuca (or any anise-flavored liqueur), be sure to wash the cocktail shaker and any utensils well to eliminate any left over flavor.
