What is it about cold, minty cocktails that draw us in on some of the coldest days of winter? Maybe it's because, although light and chilled, these drinks give us a warm, cozy feeling that begins at the scent and ends with a cooling thaw of the blood. Whatever it is, this Peppermint Froth is a prime example of a well-designed winter cocktail.
Either of the recommended garnishes will finish the cocktail off perfectly, but I've also found that cutting a slit in a piece of mint chocolate fudge and mounting it on the rim of the glass gets a little more attention and is the ultimate indulgence.
