I have a special fascination with pomegranate (try Gnar Juice) and Van Gogh's new espresso-infused vodkas and this was the inspiration for this Pomspresso Tini. In reality it is not no where near a Martini, but the espresso of it makes me like to serve it in tiny espresso cups or a "tiny" cocktail glass (the original 3 ounce size) because it the perfect little sipper. Why small? The reason is simple: the espresso vodka has quite the coffee kick and I prefer to keep this short despite it being very tasty.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz espresso vodka
- 1 oz pomegranate juice
- splash of lime juice
- 2 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters
Preparation:
- Pour the espresso vodka and fruit juices into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass or small espresso cup.
- Add a couple dashes of bitters.
