Proost

From Van Gogh Vodka

Champagne Flute

Glass Guide- Champagne Flute

How many ways can you say "Cheers!"? Proost is the Dutch version and a great way to preempt this delicious cocktail and is named such because Van Gogh Vodka is made in Holland. It is a mix of a heavenly caramel vodka and raspberry liqueur (Chambord would be a great choice) and makes a titillating dessert cocktail. This isn't just another creamy, sweet drink though, it also has some refreshing aspects in the ginger ale and mint that round everything off nicely and because it is served in a champagne flute, it also has a touch of elegant flair.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Van Gogh Dutch Caramel Vodka
  • 1/2 oz Raspberry Liqueur
  • 2 oz Ginger Ale
  • sprig of mint for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Pour Van Gogh Dutch Caramel Vodka and raspberry liqueur into a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake and strain into a champagne flute.
  3. Top with ginger ale and garnish with a sprig of mint.
