When I first receive the Starlet Cocktail recipe, it was the combination of absinthe and Champagne that caught my attention. At first I wasn't sure how this equal-ratio cocktail would work, but I was surprised. I think it is the choice of absinthe that makes the difference, as Mata Hari has a milder anise than many and the orange vodka and black raspberry liqueur (I prefer Chambord) seem to tame the mix and bring it all together. In the end, I think this could be a cocktail that many a Hollywood starlet would find quite pleasant.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Absinthe Mata Hari
- 1 oz orange flavored vodka
- 1 oz Hiram Walkder Black Raspberry Liqueur

- raspberry for garnish
