The Sunset Strip is an excellent, refreshing, fruit-filled cocktail created for the release of Absolut Los Angeles vodka, one of the brand's limited edition city vodkas. The fruit flavors of the vodka are enhanced by cranberry and lime and the muddled watermelon. It is an excellent drink for summertime outdoor entertaining, especially if you have watermelon on the menu.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz Absolut Los Angeles vodka
- 1/4 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 2 oz cranberry juice
- 2 watermelon chunks
- watermelon chunk for garnish
Preparation:
- Muddle the watermelon in a mixing glass or cocktail shaker base.
- Add the other ingredients with ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a skewered watermelon chunk.
