The Tarra Christi is a very interesting cocktail created by Junior Merino for Christiania Vodka. This is one of those that shows what you can do if you experiment with combinations of fresh fruit and herbs that you may not normally think of. It combines lignonberry syrup (Darbo makes a great one), cucumber, tarragon and lime, all of which are muddled before shaking with vodka. As you read through the ingredients the 3/6 lime may seem weird because it is a 1/2 a lime, but cutting it into smaller pieces is easier to muddle.
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 oz Christiania Vodka
- 1 oz lingonberry syrup
- 2 cucumber wheels
- 5 tarragon leaves
- 3/6 of a lime
Preparation:
- Muddle the lingonberry syrup, cucumber, tarragon and lime.
- Add the vodka and ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into an old-fashioned glass with ice.
