One of my favorite scents and tastes is the combination of cucumber and melon and the Dutch Tulip did not let me down. There is also another fresh flavor here and that is strawberry, which is muddled with the cucumber. After that the melon is added via Van Gogh Melon Vodka and the mix is shaken into a fine, fruity cocktail. As far as flavored vodkas go, the product line of Van Gogh is one of the best and most extensive and if you want to get a little adventurous, I would suggest playing with some alternatives to the Melon - I'm thinking banana or even pineapple.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Van Gogh Melon Vodka
- 2 Cucumber slices, 1/4 inch thick
- 1 Strawberry, halved
- Splash of soda water
Preparation:
- Place one cucumber slice and strawberry into a mixing glass.
- Muddle and add Van Gogh Melon Vodka and ice.
- Shake vigorously and pour into a highball glass filled with ice.
- Top with soda water and garnish with a cucumber slice.
