The moment I saw the recipe for the Zen Milk Bath in Yuri Kato's book Japanese Cocktails I knew it was going to be something spectacular, and I have not been disappointed. The aspect of this cocktail that I find the most intriguing is that it shows that sake can be a very versatile cocktail ingredient and even works with vanilla and milk, which are not the most obvious pairings. It does work quite divinely and makes a fabulous and relaxing night cap, dessert, or tea time tipple.
