The Baltimore Bang is an interesting, classically styled drink with a satisfying flavor. For those looking for a twist on the Whiskey Sour, this is an excellent option because it brings in a sweet fruity flavor via the apricot brandy. Though it is not as popular as it once was, a handful of brands continue to make an apricot brandy. Two that I would recommend are Bols and Marie Brizard Apry (a Cognac-based apricot liqueur).

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 ounce bourbon whiskey
- 1 1/2 ounce apricot brandy
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- orange slice and cherry for garnish

- Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a skewered orange slice and cherry flag.
