The Torii Toddy is a warm drink created by Kevin Diedrich and submitted to the January 2011 Hot Cocktail contest. I chose this one is a winning cocktail, because of its unique use of chrysanthemum tea and the fact that it is mixed with one of my favorite liqueurs, Yellow Chartreuse. The choice of whiskey isn't half bad either, `in fact, I think Yamazaki is one of those choices for this particular toddy. this is by far one of the best new toddies that it in long time.

Ingredients:
- 2 oz Yamazaki 12 yr whiskey
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz honey
- 1/4 oz Yellow Chartreuse
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 4 oz Hot fresh brewed Chrysanthemum Tea
- lemon wheel spiked with cloves for garnish
Preparation:
- Brew chrysanthemum tea with hot water.
- In an Irish coffee glass combine other ingredients.
- Top with chrysanthemum tea and stir well.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel spiked cloves.
