Recently, I was behind the bar mixing up cocktails and a patron came in and asked me for something new featuring a combination of Galliano (which just returned to its original formulation) and whiskey. Intrigued, I immediately thought of pairing the herbal notes of Galliano with the richness of Vya vermouth and then adding a touch of sweetness to the mix with the rich tones of Jim Beam bourbon. The result is a complex cocktail with notes of vanilla, chocolate and orange. This is easy to replicate and only contains three ingredients, so break out your mixing glass and try the Blind Pilot cocktail at home.

Ingredients:
- 1 oz Jim Beam White Label bourbon
- 1 oz Vya sweet vermouth
- 1 oz Galliano
Preparation:
- In a mixing glass add all ingredients.
- Add ice.
- Stir vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Strain into a stemmed cocktail glass.
