The Chapel Hill is one of those relatively popular cocktails that I honestly believe should be more popular than it is. This simple mix of bourbon and triple sec is a very pleasant one and the bit of lemon adds just enough extra citrus to make the Chapel Hill more interesting. While this drink is typically served neat, I prefer the slow sipping experience of it on the rocks and a dash of bitters is another nice touch. Similarly, if you switch to rye or Canadian whiskey and curacao you'll have a Marlene Dietrich Cocktail.
