Ginger has one of those great flavors that can be used in innumerable ways and it seems that it can never go wrong. So in the Ginger Mist, Tim Laird (Canadian Mist Whisky Chief Cocktail Officer) paired ginger with the light and fruity whiskey. The result is a martini of magnificent complexity, even if there is only two ingredients involved. This is a great compliment to most Asian meals, especially your favorite maki rolls.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Canadian Mist Whiskey
- 1 tsp ginger preserves
- sugared ginger for garnish
Preparation:
- Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
