Often when we think of St. Patrick's Day we want all things to be green, but let's not forget the importance of gold at the end of the rainbow. This Irish Gold highball is not only perfect for that particular occasion, but is a nice sipper any day of the year. It combines Irish whiskey with orange and peach and tops it all off with some ginger ale. The result is a fruity Irish whiskey drink that is superiorly refreshing.
Ingredients:
- 2 parts Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey
- 2 parts Ginger ale
- 1/2 part peach schnapps
- splash of orange juice
- lime wheel for garnish
Preparation:
- Build the whiskey, schnapps and juice in a Collins glass filled with ice.
- Top with ginger ale.
- Garnish with a lime wheel.
