This cocktail, created by mixologist Duggan McDonnell, is an elegant display of a great cocktail. The Island Voodoo features three great spirits, rye whiskey, Averna and limoncello, for a complex array of bitter, sweet and sour. It's a great sipper for any occasion and a relaxing nightcap.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz rye whiskey
- 1 oz Averna
- 1/2 oz limoncello
- flamed orange peel for garnish
Preparation:
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Stir 30 times.
- Strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a flamed orange peel.
