The Merry Irishman is a simple but delightful mixed drink that features one of my favorite Irish whiskies, Tullamore Dew. When this full-bodied whiskey is paired with Kahlua and a mint schnapps the result is a fantastic and flavorful sipper that will have you saying Merry Christmas in no time. The Merry Irishman is great after dinner and as a cold winter's night nightcap because it has all of the elements that make you feel warm and cozy.
Ingredients:
- 2 parts Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey
- 1 part Kahlua
- 1/2 part mint schnapps
- candy cane for garnish
Preparation:
- Build ingredients in a rocks glass filled with ice.
- Garnish and stir with a candy cane.
