The Shamrocked rocks and that's the simple truth! Not being a big fan of shooters usually, this delicious green mix has made my list. The beauty of it is that it is light, filled with flavor and very smooth - it also goes perfectly with St. Patrick's Day - and it is definitely an easy shooter to take that leaves you feeling like anything but that you've just had a shot. The Shamrocked relies more on Midori than Irish whiskey and that creates a smooth, sweet, not to sweet shot that anyone can enjoy. You can also consider this an Irish Frog with a whiskey back.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Midori melon liqueur
- 1/2 oz Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey
- 1/2 oz Carolan's Irish cream liqueur
Preparation:
- Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake incredibly well.
- Strain into a shot glass.
