Snowshoe Grog

By Colleen Graham, About.com

Old-fashioned Glass

Glass Guide- Old-fashioned Glass

This recipe for Snowshoe Grog is for a simple lowball served on the rocks that is guaranteed to warm you up from the inside out. Bourbon is the best choice for more of a standard flavor that mixes wonderfully with peppermint. If you are feeling a little daring however, go with the brandy. It’s an interesting flavor combination that some people can really get into.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz bourbon or brandy
  • 1/2 oz peppermint schnapps

Preparation:

  1. Pour the bourbon or brandy and peppermint schnapps into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir.
