The Three Wise Men in this case are Johnnie Walker, Jim Beam and Jack Daniel, who in this case, mix together for a very strong shot. There are also many variations in which other names are dropped into the hat: Jose Cuervo, Wild Turkey, etc.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 oz Johnnie Walker Scotch whisky
- 1/2 oz Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey
- 1/2 oz Jim Beam bourbon
Preparation:
- Pour the whiskies into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a shot glass.
- Three Wise Men Go Hunting- add 1/2 oz Wild Turkey bourbon
- Three Wise Men Visit Mexico- add 1/2 oz Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila
