The Washington Apple is a great drink, in fact it is so popular that you can find it being served as a Martini, a shooter, even tall or short on the rocks. The taste is simply appealing and can be addicting, what with a rich Canadian whiskey background, a sweet and sour apple, and refreshing cranberry. If you go the tall route of the Washington Apple, feel free to add more cranberry to taste, otherwise in all versions the ingredients are equal - which also makes this an easy drink to remember.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Crown Royal Canadian Whiske
  • 1 oz sour apple schnapp
  • 1 oz cranberry juic
  • apple slice for garnis

Preparation:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass or shot glass.
  4. Garnish neat version with an apple slice.

On the rocks: Build in an ice-filled old-fashioned or highball glass and stir. Add an apple slice or more cranberry juice if desired.
