Mock Michigan Maple Blossom
Your cocktail recipe.
1 oz Maple syrup
2 oz Apple juice
1 oz Lemon juice
2 oz Vernors Ginger Ale
Shake all ingredients w/ ice and strain into a hi-ball glass filled w/ ice. Garnish w/ a lemon soaked apple wedge. Enjoy!
Your inspiration.
An awesome friend, local singer, and patron of the bar I work, helps make Maple syrup at a cabin in Newaygo County, every year. This year he brought me a bottle as a gift, and I have decided to make a drink in his honor. Starting with his delicious Maple syrup, and combining Apple and Lemon juice with Vernors, ( A Michigan original), we have made a wonderfully refreshing, non- alcoholic beverage suitable for all ages. Enjoy!
Tips and Tricks
- Mix well to incorporate the Maple syrup.
- Soak the Apple wedge in Lemon juice to preserve the color.
